Who provides Tickmarks
These terms cover the Tickmarks website, dashboard, API and MCP tools. “You” means the account holder or, when you act for an organisation, the organisation you are authorised to represent.
For product support, email support@tickmarks.nl.
For a purchase processed through Paddle, Paddle is the authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle manages the payment, tax collection, transaction support and payment-related returns. Tickmarks provides and supports the extraction service. The Paddle Buyer Terms apply to that purchase alongside these service terms.
The service
Tickmarks extracts structured values from document text using the fields and relations in your schema. Results may contain observed or derived values, conflicts or missing fields. The documentation describes the supported inputs, limits and response format. PDF conversion and OCR are separate steps.
Review results against the source document before relying on them. Confidence and successful relation checks do not guarantee that a document or an extracted value is correct. Tickmarks does not provide legal, accounting or financial advice.
Features described as preview or sandbox are for evaluation. A sandbox payment is not a live purchase. Any temporary preview credit is identified in the dashboard.
Your account and use
Provide accurate account information and keep your password and API keys secure. Revoke a key you believe has been exposed. You are responsible for requests made through credentials you authorise, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
Use Tickmarks lawfully. Do not submit material you have no right to process, attempt unauthorised access, bypass access or usage controls, distribute malicious code, or disrupt the service. Published request limits apply to dashboard, API and MCP use.
If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to accept service terms and purchase credit on its behalf.
Credit and payments
Tickmarks uses prepaid credit for document reads. A read is a processing pass over a window of schema and document tokens. One document can require several reads. The pricing page and dashboard explain the current unit price, window limits and available top-ups.
Top-ups are one-time purchases. There is no recurring subscription or automatic top-up in the current checkout. The amount of credit and the total payable, including applicable taxes, are shown before you pay. Promotional credit and one-time offers have the eligibility shown with the offer.
Credit is allocated after payment confirmation. Check Billing for the balance and transaction history. If a completed payment has not added credit, keep the receipt and contact support; do not repeat the payment simply to retry delivery.
Tickmarks does not offer voluntary refunds for purchased or unused credit. This is subject to the refund policy, mandatory rights and Paddle’s applicable terms.
Purchased credit does not expire and is tied to the purchasing account. It cannot be transferred to another account or person. Credit is a monetary balance, not a guaranteed number of reads. We will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before a price-per-read increase takes effect. New reads after that date are charged at the new price, so an existing balance buys fewer reads. Longer notice or other remedies apply where required by law.
If we decide to permanently discontinue Tickmarks, we will notify account holders in advance and stop selling top-ups. The notice will explain the closure date, use of remaining credit and how to raise a claim concerning unused purchased credit. Permanent closure does not remove your rights concerning services paid for but not supplied, or Paddle’s authority to provide remedies. Any refund due for a Paddle purchase is handled through Paddle. The absence of an expiry date does not guarantee that the service will operate indefinitely.
Your documents and schemas
You retain your rights in the text, schemas and other material you submit. You authorise Tickmarks to process that material as needed to fulfil your requests and save schemas you explicitly choose to keep. Saving a schema does not save the document text used to test it.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis and the necessary permissions to submit information about other people. Do not put secrets or personal information into request references unless needed; references appear in usage records.
The privacy notice explains account and request data handling. Business customers processing personal data on someone else’s behalf may need a separate data processing agreement.
Availability and responsibility
Maintenance, failures and abuse prevention can interrupt access. Keep your own copies of documents, schemas and results needed for your work. No service-level commitment is included unless separately agreed.
Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights concerning digital services. These terms do not impose a liability cap or restrict your statutory remedies.
Closing your account
You can delete your account in Settings after confirming your email and password. Deletion revokes keys and removes saved schemas and the account’s usage and credit records from the active application database. Export what you need first. Provider-held payment records are separate. Backup and recovery copies are addressed in the privacy notice.
Account deletion ends access to remaining credit and does not itself create a voluntary refund entitlement. It does not remove any mandatory right or payment claim you may have.
Changes and complaints
We publish changes to these terms with an updated date and notify account holders by email before material changes take effect. Price increases follow the 14-day notice period above. Changes do not remove rights arising from earlier purchases.
